BERNE
Hey Friends!
I can’t believe its already February!!!! somehow January always drags on and February and march fly by… we are getting SO close to spring, yet somehow it doesn’t feel that way, We just got hit with over a foot of snow in the last day and the kids have had fun playing in it. so spring still feels so far away with this winter wonderland we have going on today!
This is also the time of year i start questioning why the heck we have so many outside animals LOL. I’ve learned the last couple years being outside with kids and now with animals it is SO important to have good quality winter gear. Wether you have a homestead or not.. if you live Somewhere where its snowing basically half the year like us.. its so important to invest in good quality winter gear to keep you warm, I also Notice that even when its blowing and cold if my kids are bundled up properly they can play outside with no problems. which for this homesteading/homeschooling mama getting outside through the winter months is so important. fresh air really does us all wonders.
a couple years ago i came across the brand BERNE when i was looking for winter coats for Rosie. we were starting horse lessons and the barn she was at had an outside arena that was freezing. she needed something that would keep her warm. When searching I came across berne and read some amazing reviews so we decided to give them a try. let me say i haven’t looked back. The quality is outstanding and has held up. rosie has had the same coat for over two years now and wore it daily in the fall and winter and you would never know she’s had it this long with how well it has stood up. and If you know anything about rosie … she is my kid that is rough on EVERYTHING. i can’t keep clothes without holes or stains or ruined within one to two wears,
This winter we got all new gear for all of us. some insulated bibs, coats and vest for josh and I. Josh went out and plowed the driveway in windy zero degree temps the other day and came back in and the first thing he said was im not even cold. This berne brand is amazing!
all of the snow gear is lined super well to keep you Extra warm. they have different kinds with sherpa or soft sweatshirt like material. They also have so many fun colors and styles of everything!!
Berne has been our go to and the prices are far less than some other similar brands with even better quality! i’m so Glad i found this brand a couple years back. it truly is a game changer having the proper gear for winter!!
